children with HIV
to give in
don't ask
Children and adolescents with HIV have the right to live healthily, safely and with dignity.
The National Alliance for Children with HIV exists to promote the mainstreaming of the fulfillment of these rights through joint cross-sector advocacy.
What is the National Alliance for Children with HIV?
The National Alliance for Children with HIV is an advocacy forum that provides a platform for organizations, groups, individuals, and experts in Indonesia to advocate for the fulfillment of the rights of children and adolescents at risk of and living with HIV. We work at the national and local levels to ensure that policies, services, and participation are truly child-friendly.
Why is a National Alliance Needed?
To date, the issue of HIV in children in Indonesia has often been marginalized. Existing programs and services are limited in scope, lack national coordination, and do not fully address the needs of children and adolescents living with HIV. This alliance was initiated as a shared space to strengthen advocacy, unite voices, and encourage sustainable policy change.
